Does IFC Coordinator Cloud lose data on export?
No. Lossless export is the core promise. Server-side processing using IfcOpenShell preserves every entity, relationship, property set, quantity set, and classification on round-trip. What you import is what you export.
Which IFC schemas are supported?
IFC Coordinator Cloud supports both IFC2x3 (ISO 16739:2013) and IFC4 (ISO 16739-1:2018), including all standard and custom property sets, quantity sets, type objects, material associations, and classification references.
How much does IFC Coordinator Cloud cost?
IFC Coordinator Cloud offers three per-user plans (headline prices are yearly-billed). Starter: €50/mo per user — 3 projects, 100 AI requests/mo. Professional: €75/mo per user — 10 projects, 500 AI requests/mo. Enterprise (min 5 seats): €100/mo per user — unlimited projects, 2,000 AI requests/mo, SSO/SAML, SLA. Monthly billing is available at a 15% markup. All plans include a 7-day free trial with full access — no credit card required. How does real-time collaboration work?
Multiple users can edit the same IFC model simultaneously. The platform shows who is editing which elements, detects conflicts, and maintains a complete version history. All changes are tracked with user attribution and timestamps.
What is the AI Assistant?
The AI Assistant (powered by Claude) can answer natural language questions about your model, generate quality reports for missing properties or classifications, and apply batch property fixes with AI-powered suggestions. It has a deterministic fallback for operations that don't need AI interpretation.
Do I need to install anything?
No. IFC Coordinator Cloud runs entirely in your browser. The 3D viewer uses WebGL (built on the open-source @thatopen/components stack), and heavy IFC processing runs on the server. Works on any modern browser on any operating system.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored in Germany (Hetzner Cloud, Nuremberg datacenter). The platform is GDPR compliant with a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available. IFC files are stored encrypted at rest and are never used for AI training.
